Well that opens up a whole can of worms.. What about people who vanquished without using ursan/consumables, or who did all the hm missions without them. What about people who did drunk title without using the zoning trick, or did the entire thing with heroes/henchies. Eh? Meh, /notsigned. And I actually did all of them without ursan/consumables too lol.

or how about adding "AND not have obsidian flesh tank [or anything resembling an obsidian flesh tank] in your party either to complete." onto "your party must not use consumables or buffs" ~ lol that would end this bright idea real fast because the OP probably plays with OBFlesh tanks or is one him/herself in those non-consumable, "non ursan" teams xD

really no harm meant, just saying if the idea happens to sink in with aNet, then there WILL be more restrictions added on, not in favor of you (or anyone else) who came up with the idea. that is how original ideas roll these days.

How about a special title or statue for PvE Mesmers, Paragons, Assassins, and Rits and others who aren't in the "trinity" (there's nothing "holy" about it ) and complete those areas?

Maybe they should have a new title, strictly for the "unwanted" professions, for the number of PUGs they get into:
  • Level 1 - 100 PUGs = "Hey, it's a body"
    Level 2 - 250 PUGs = "Tolerated"
    Level 3 - 500 PUGs = "Accepted by some"
    Level 4 - 1,000 PUGs = "Appreciated"
Level 5 = 2,500 PUGs = "You Like me. You really really like me!"

Oh yeah. /not signed

This isn't a title you can display for everyone to see. This is a statue in your HoM. Which means that the only people who can see it are you or those you bring in. I'm assuming that you can manage to remember whether you finished without consets or pve skills whatever, so different statues shouldn't mean anything to you. Which leaves only people you bring in to show off to.They'll either believe you or not, depends on whether they know you or not. No need for these statues considering the whole bunch of other stuff they should fix/add in first. Such as being able to manually choose the order of what you want to display in the first place.

Also, there's problems with the practical side of things. Do you get the statue if YOU don't use pve skills and consets? Or the team? A monk could easily bring no pve skills or consumables, but if he had 5 ursans with him who used their consets then it doesn't mean the monk did it the old fashioned way does it? And if the statue only applies if the whole team has no pve skills or consets, well think of the griefing possibilities. Doing it old tank and spank way, a few hours in and about at the end of one of the elite missions, some guy thinks it'll be funny to grief everyone so he pops a consumable. Whole team is disqualified from that statue and a few hours are down the drain. Think of the QQing that will happen then.

You're right. The irony is that this was an attempt to fix the problems without nerfing cons/pve skills at all.

Ursan bites... but elitism by claiming your leet cookie cutter/SABway build is somehow less cheap isn't any better.

Just complete the missions without PvE super-buffs and take screenshots if you want to show it off your leet

I know the connotation of your suggestion isn't so narcissistic, but that doesn't deviate from there being much better and more needed suggestions abound (subjective, of course).

/notsigned, soz.
